Hi chaps/chapesses,
My daily smoker 306 dturbo is blowing the ABS fuse, also the speedo has stopped working, I'm guessing they are related. The reverse lights are on the same fuse, I cleaned them up (the lamp units were a bit manky), then left them disconnected, fuse still blows.
Would a wheel sensor fault cause the fuse to blow? I think I am looking at a short circuit or bad earth, but electrickery isn't my strong point, any ideas where to start?
I'm going to disconnect all the wheel sensors and then plug them all in one by one, see what happens. Any other stuff I ought to be looking at?
It's a '98, with Bosch 4 wheel ABS.
The same fuse apparently does "dipped headlamp relay", but the headlights still work.
I had it to my local garage, they plugged it in but couldn't retrieve any fault codes.
Thanks in advance...
