So with the Volvo gone, and being well let down by a seller on a Clio (no one on here) I had to swap my insurance to something or I would lose out. I looked to this handsome chap. My old E30 given to my brother with the promise it would be kept well. It was not. Its been sat with no mot for over a year now. Not happy about this. Jobs we know need doing are rear brake lines have popped and need re making and I found a lovely big chunk or rust next to the rear subframe mount.

Its mostly solid. But it has some poor areas. There will be lots of photos. Mainly of how good it used to look It also needs a new splitter. Battery. Wheel cap, and the speedo cluster is going mad fuel gauge not working properly. Rev counter has stopped all together. And some mold has got inside.

It is always nice to see a 318iS on here . Hopefully it is not too arduous to get it back on the road.

Thanks. This car was my pride and joy at 18 so it will be great to have it roadworthy again. That being said I have already thrown a spanner in the works buying something else. More to come on that when I get it.

Looks great, would have been a shame to let it sit and rot.

Some of its former glory I had named this car Claire. And what I think is still the best photo ive ever taken (no filters) The engine is solid and sound, we done the timing chain and put a good oil pump in about 3 years ago, there didnt look to be a drop of wear on the internals.

And here is my spanner A complete bargain 325tds. Id start a new thread for it but I'm not sure its classed at retro yet, maybe in another couple of years. Its a bit tatty, but it has good potential. I'm hoping to get this roadworthy quickly so i can get back on the E30 before the years through. With his older brother

Cheers. Yeah I don't often see them for sale. It seems pretty good so far. It just needs 2 rear wheel bearings mainly.
