There used to be a number of us who used to meet at the Blackheath tea hut back in 92-2004 every Thursday night and most weekends then convoy down to southend or Dartford all on our CB Radios lol Was you one of the boys back then?, it would be nice to find out your name and what car you had and CB handle if you had one  Whos knows maybe we could even sort out a reunion Ok i'll start then I'm Danny and i had a Gold mk5 cortina slammed with a set of rst wheels with a 4" pipe out the back and a cb aerial (Hot shot lewisham) was the cb handle lol  |

Long before then mate mid to late 80s , usually driving one of many mk1 escorts I owned then 1600e cortinas, then 3.0 and 2.8i Capris,,, I really miss those days, I came from
Bexleyheath didn't like dartford people and they didn't like us !!! Funny thing is I'm now firmly settled in dartford and married to a dartford girl... Ok i was still at school then but seems like it's always been a popular meeting place. There used to be a nice mk1 escort van that was always there and one night he over cooked it and went side on to the lamp post! pos sod. Haha yeah i remember that between the Dartford and Bexleyheath boys, we had similar issues at southend and medway.
Haha yep cheap tyres for the weekend burnouts and donuts all over the heath but back then it would have been rude not to when we left. yeah me too, well you never know maybe we could sort out a reunion early next year, i'm in.
Was you not on the cb then?

I was only talking to a guy I work with about the tea hut on Friday. Him and his pals used to go there and have been talking about trying to rekindle some sort of meet. There all in there mid 40's and buying old fords to relive there youth (or it might be the midlife crisis??)
I will let him know there has been some interest of a new meeting.
