Yes that is right we're already working on 2016! We have now confirmed Sunday 28th August 2016 as show day.
As some people will have heard over the tannoy (although to be honest we hadn't totally decided on what we were doing, just bouncing some ideas around), we are going to have to have a modest increase ticket entry to The Gathering next year. I'll post the full reasoning on the site as we like to be fairly transparent about these things*, however what it means right now is there is a chance to get get day tickets at this year's pre book price (£7.50) in October, an email will go out to everyone that bought tickets last year with details when we put them on sale.
Perhaps more relevant for this here forum is the news that at the same time we'll also put on camping tickets, at £35. I'm currently deciding whether to do the full allocation or whether to do a split, so there will be another sale in Feb/March next year.
Ultimately the day tickets will be £10 in advance and £15 on the day, with 16 and under still free.
Hopefully this won't be too upsetting for people. I thought I'd give the forum an early heads up so you can tell your friends and all that.

*Short hand reasons, our costs have gone up a lot over the last six years and we've kept our entry price the same over that period. We want to improve the event each year, rather than just rehash the same thing each year, and this costs money. Obviously we'll go all out to make a price increase worthwhile, better field prep, better guest cars (maybe ones that even come this time :/ ), better general facilities and show. We're also looking to get a headline sponsor again so we can go all out with confidence (getting some more European cars over again). It is also worth mention that if we follow our current form the next ticket price rise will be in 2021**
**and we'd still be cheaper than comparable shows on the calendar
