I just saw a text pic of it out on public roads fuelling up! Applause to you sir! Haha!!! Thank you man! That's a huge compliment, I know you had strong doubts this thing would ever move and I sorta did too!! Told you Paul, you provided the motivation with your amazing car...so actually, applause to you! I'm pretty excited! Like I mentioned, I have to make sure this thing is legal and has working lights......I'm probably going to drive it over to your crib afterwards!!! Haha!

Well, does it still run?? What happened with this? Sitting at the old house, probably grab it this weekend. Bets on if it'll make the trip 20 miles to the new house?!?!? Hahaha Emailed a guy about a 13bt rotary with trans this morning....also researching the ole 302/T-5 swap combo. Hemi is too big, Ford Mod is too big......GM is trash. We still need a field trip to LKQ!!!

Little update on the car: Drove it Sunday to my new place, fingers and shoe laces crossed!! Over the winter I'm hoping to get good access to my new garage, help this poor car along. Maybe hit some 2016 track days, maybe break down on the side of the road.....it's all up in the air.
<--quick snippet while fingers weren't crossed!

I say we put the Biturbo car body on the 4x4 chassis. Now THAT will be something! I'll shorten the frame on the 4x4 and you strip the Biturbo out, Hemi Biturbo!

Is there any more progress/updates for this car? The thread seems to have come to a rather abrupt end!

Is there any more progress/updates for this car? The thread seems to have come to a rather abrupt end! Yes! Progress! It's sitting in the back of my garage on a trickle charger. Just had a new daughter, wedding, career. I was actually trying to sell it but I hear things like "Oh my, what a nice Maserati! It runs??? Outstanding!!! For sale?!?!? Oh, well...good luck with that!!" Haha I may tackle it again soon, I bit off more than I could chew with cars this year. Currently I own the following, and they're all 100% road worthy....so the BiTurbo sits... G35 coupe 76' Cordoba 44,000 original miles! 78" 450sl (my daily) 70' HD Ironhead 16" Yamaha Fz-09 So, you can see why it just hangs out. I still need to sort out the taillight issue, but it's still quite fun to drive around the block! If you go to my YouTube channel, you can find newer videos.

So basically, life happened! I can't blame you for leaving it for a while. The fact that people display immediate fear when told it's for sale says it all about these cars, don't you think? Glad to hear you still have plans for it anyway. Clement seems to have hit a bit of a wall with his too, and mine is currently an expensive ornament as it doesn't run and needs significant money spending on parts. So at least there's one Biturbo on here that runs!

There is a FB group I am a member of, Maserati Biturbo, may be able to find some good resale items there!!

So nice to see this! I appreciate the honesty about its curse word-tastic appeal, and its undeniably awesome potential. I had a ride in one of these years ago by an eccentric mechanic who really wanted to sell it to me. It was impressive for about 3 minutes before it broke down & left us walking. Hell of a 3 minutes though!
As for engine swaps, that drivetrain dropped longitudinally into my Lancia Scorpion makes me smile!
Keep it alive, sort it & enjoy its kitsch value : )
