Hi,ive got a 1983 ford capri 2.8 injection 4 speed,ive owned it 6 years,been sat on the drive for 3 years due to inheriting fathers car.....put a battery on it last week started up after couple turns .....project car ,usual capri probs may need welding ......whats it worth  cheers pictures to follow.... |

Worth around 2k in my opinion if been sat for so long. EllieCharlie on the Ford Capri Forum would probably take it on?

2K!!!! WOW, if that's how much that's worth then I'm wondering about mine now.  Mint, no rot etc just usual bolster wear. 2.8 Special. Not that I want to sell it.....yet. |

fire some piccys up
its hard to say value wise without seeing it in person its more the under side that suffers
I restore them for a living and always on the look out for capris as mentioned above

nathanThat's the problem, there is such a tight gap between Restorable cars and 'Mint' or Tidy examples. Restorable/affordable cars start around 1k for a 2.8i but pretty much hit a peak at around 5k for one like yours. The ones asking more rarely get what they are asking unless it its a Cabbage (Brooky) and then only if touched by 'The right people'

I sold my 2.8i 5 years ago for £2800 so the black one above must be worth good money. At the time i think i got good money for it
