I think I know the answer to this already, but I'll ask all the same.
I have just discovered one of the fleet, acquired eight years ago, apparently has never been on SORN. We bought it and it was on SORN, but we, to the best of my knowledge, have never recieved either a renewal or tax notice. It has never been on the road in our ownership and a search comes up untaxed. What is the best way of approaching this?

What is the best way of approaching this? When was it last taxed, if before the introduction of the SORN process there is no requirement to SORN. In fact if you try to SORN it DVLA will return any application

Change the name on the logbook and sorn in new keepers name, just trying to sorn it may open you up for a fine.
