Fish net Recaros  gets my vote! Never driven one myself but I know they rave about them on Pistonheads. As drivers cars, quite a raw drive for something so modern. As always, slap some wide wheels and lows for instant win... Or keep it rally'ish and add mega spot lights and stickers?? |

Cool little car! I have heard good things about them too.
One of my biggest regrets is not buying one of these new. They were $18500 driveaway here - I ended up spending the same money on a 2nd hand 206 Gti which was the biggest pile of poop I have ever owned. I did end up buying the next generation Swift Sport, which was an excellent car running the same motor as you have. The motor and gearbox are magic!
Induction kit and exhaust would be my first mods! Gotta have that rorty Suzuki sound!

No, wide wheels but maybe a slight drop alright. Will need to get advice because the standard suspension does not like poor road surfaces. |

I like em,
But I'm biased, I love small sporty suzuki's, they usually get them right.
if it's anything like the mk1 swift gti, I'm sure it will be an absolute hoot.

Suzuki's are often massively underrated by the general car buyers. Good news for us as they are cheap for what you get. Love these cars and their styling! Awesome buy!

Thanks guys, that all sounds positive. Which is great as it was a bit of a culture shock stepping out of my Accord and driving it - reminded me of my old and not forgotten Alfa Suds or Golf GTi's in several ways but a little rawer.
Anyway, the good news is I got new tyres fitted all round this morning (Dunlop Sport Blue Response), the little 'Ricer' is transformed, really made a massive difference and even more so than any other car I have fitted new tyres to that I can remember. Possibly, going from 185/55/15 to 185/60 has helped but then again it did have two of the original Yoko's still on the rear (date stamped 43rd week 2003) and two new'ish Chinese 'Sunny' rubbish on the front which wouldn't have helped the ride or steering feel, those are now excellent and bumps are far, far less of an issue plus I'm less concerned about minor potholes now.
Onwards and upwards (fingers crossed)!

Same engine as yaris t sport. I had one with aftermarket suspension and a suzuki sport induction. Best car I've ever owned! And I'm on the lookout for another!

I like this, cool little car. Being the little 1500, i presume its good on petrol. Whats the ride like, is it comfortable? I could see me getting something like this as a daily for the other half.

Yeah, I've got to admit I think it's cool too. Petrol, what petrol? Done about 300-400 mls so far, mixed driving and at a guess it doing 40 mpg plus. Will properly check it at some stage. The ride was only good on smooth roads, bumps and even shallow potholes or ruts were to be avoided as much as possible, it was actually concerning me and I reckoned if this is the norm it's a compromise too far. Anyway, got four new tyres fitted & wheel alignment done this morning and it now drives like a completely different car, thankfully. I'm a very, very happy camper now. If you do buy one I'd strongly advise you stay on good terms with the Missus as you'll want to drive. |

I don't think so, the T-Sport from what I recall has the inlet and exhaust ports on the opposite sides to the Suzuki? Can't blame you for looking to get another one but not too easy to find a one owner,FSH,41K and no mods from what I've seen. If you do get similar I think you'll be expected to pay a few bob above the general going rate, I certainly had to. Still, they seem to be considered fairly bulletproof so a high mileage one should come cheap, possibly sub £1000. |
