Luckyseven isn't a journo AFAIK, but he'd be 'write' at home if he decided to switch careers. I've thoroughly enjoyed his SA22 and FD3 posts - his enthusiasm has only bolstered my desire to own a Rotary in the future.
Sincerely, a motoring journo.

I like these little Cosmo's, though I used to disregard them when I first saw them when playing Gran Turismo on my Playstation growing up Is it just me or is there a fair bit of similarity to the Alfa Romeo Spider in the side profile?

Yes echo great write up and echo "in like Flynn", I always say it, in fact being welsh I often say " in like Glynn". As for meeting your heroes but leaving feeling diss appointed I once hankered after an rs1600i escort, I'd had series one turbos etc but I'd always been told that the rs1600i drove a bit better, nicer seats etc. Out of the blue I get a call from a mate, he's just had a mint red one in (going back 12years ago now) a and it's mine for £2500. Got there and I must say the paintwork was superb, nice clean original interior etc, lovely jubbly. Took it for a drive and I was so disappointed, felt slow, heavy, the seats weren't that comfy, brakes felt wooden, cvh asthmatic, ok it handled quite well but otherwise I was gutted, it felt like a worse mk4 xr3i. So automotive wise yes, meeting your heroes can be a very empty experience.
