There are also different types of cap for 16 inch wheel too. This type with a raised lip around the circumference And this type that sits flush . The former won't fit the latter type of wheel as it sits proud when placed onto the wheel . It would be possible to remove the "lip" on a lathe or by simply grinding it but the cast recess for the retaining bolt is deeper on the one with the lip and if you ground off the same amount of metal as the lip you would enlarge the bolt hole to a point where the bolt head would slip through. That could be refilled with an epoxy glue and then redrilled but ........ They both look identical from the front although the lipped one may actually be a 15" fitting as the lip reduces the overall diameter.

Oh gawds, I knew this was gunna get complicated! Tbh I don't know which type I need until both the wheels and the cap turn up and I see if they fit together.
Tbh I took a punt on the other cap as it was 20 quid and for that its a template to get the lattice pattern lazer cut if nothing else. Twin layer them, a plain flat cap with tjhelattice stuck on top.
I have a lathe so theoretically ican make anything fit and work. Just thought it would be much less work if I can pick up some caps.

Well good luck Dez . I wish I could help you out re spare caps but that one is my only spare that I'll have to modify if ever I have to . If I can help in any other way re photo's or dimensions of the wheels and both caps ,just let me know. Don

I've got a set of four which will be available in a week or two. I dropped off my staggered 17" Remotec A's with my wheel refurbisher at the beginning of the week along with two sets of caps. He will use whichever four he decides upon and the other set will then be available. The Caps I have are for 16" & 17" Wheels, the flush fitting type as in your second pic. C.
