So I'm faced with the sad fact that I can only drive ONE car to the gathering this year. I'll have more than enough time to get all finished (bar my 1951 Beetle which is sadly light years away from completion). The options are, the B310 I have a stupid amount of wheels that it can be put on and an angle grinder to bring it down to the ground, so be imaginative (I really love these cars). The 510 As above, I have enough wheels to switch these old chromed steels out. RX7 FC3S Turbo II Convertible Currently on feed coilovers, SSR mesh wheels, red recaros, nardi, blah blah blah Mitsubishi Colt Celeste GT 2000... excuse Grimace standing behind the car with a boner and bits of tissue stuck to his bellend Full of win. Again, with lows and.... probably the same rims. Despite being steels (with a chrome garnish) they have a decent offset with a reasonable amount of dish. Last of all, the not-so-retro-but-a-GTR-so-cool-whether-you-like-it-or-not Skyline. The day it arrived, the fat man broke it. Luckily we had some steel N1 turbos on the shelf which went straight on. It's not retro, but it is comfy and ridiculously fast which combined with it's near infinite amount of grip and giant Brembo brakes means that it would be the MOST fun taking it up Shelsley Walsh. Share with you me your thoughts and whatever harbours the most votes will be at Retro Rides Gathering 2015... lets hope we're sensible and don't buy anymore cars! (although I am sorely tempted to buy the TVR advertised here, DOH!)

Stick GTR running gear in Celeste, leave it looking standard, win at RR. If I did that I would double the weight! Also the celeste is not a big car, I could probably mate the gearbox straight to the diff without a prop! But seriously... I do have a Skyline GTST in the garage too which has much easier running gear to transplant into something else. The AWD system +hicas is way to complicated to start transplanting into something else without the heftiest of headaches.

I vote for the 510, if you want to get the 310 there as well sell it to me!!!! You have a PM. I'd been wanting a 310 since I saw one in Japan in 2005 decked on some work equip 01s looking absolute baller. Typically this one came up for sale a week after I bought my 510 in 2013 and I couldn't not buy it... especially being the best looking model, 2-door sedan. Even has the original radio still!
