Hi any chance you would sell the front crash bar if it's in good solid condition, they suffer badly from rot and i need one for a mk1 i'm trying to save, if you would how much would you want posted to FK2?

You would definitely make £450 by simply breaking the cars, those bumper bars go for at least 100 and the front wings are valuable if they're in good condition. Things like alternators, ileather nterior (esp drivers seat), and panel cut outs are in demand. Just a thought if you find it hard shifting - people are after parts to keep theirs on the road.

Hi David
Thanks for the heads up but i do break cars for a living, i was going to suggest to anyone making a potential offer to take into consideration this very idea, that the leather seats & door cards, crossmember, targa panels etc would all add up. The lad i am selling for would like to see them gone, i would suggest if he didn't want £400 bang on it would have to be very close.
PS. Also found out the white car is a cat c, so it would be more profitable to buy them to break.
