I decided to make a refreshed thread for this
I purchased the car from a gentleman last week, who has took major care of the car since it was in his possession. The previous owner (from what I've been told) was an old lady who had the car from new. It's been garaged all it's life (which isn't surprising), It's a German built car which is in amazing condition, and it's just ticked over 28,000 miles (It had just over 26,000 miles on when I bought it).
The previous owner bought the car in January 2013, and has spared no expense when it came to maintaining the car, he spent a fortune on it, which included ;
-Brand new Genuine Ford wheels, wheel trims, and Pirelli P3000 tyres.
-Genuine Ford interior mats.
-Full cooling system flush and refresh.
-Fanbelt and heater control valve replaced.
-Iridium spark plugs.
-Regulary serviced using Castrol Magnetix oil.
-Genuine Ford mud flaps all round.
-Fully rustproofed using a mixture of Waxoyl & ACF50.
The car has no rust or rot at all, and has never had any welding/bodywork done in it's life; pretty impressive for an old Fiesta! I have made a few changes to make it ready for the show season in 2015, but I have kept all of the original parts to put back in.
The modifications that have been carried out so far are as follows;
-Lowered 60mm all round.
-Allycats with 165/55/13's.
-10" sub and amp.
-Pressed plates.
-I also removed the Mk5 side strips that the previous owner fitted.
The car has had a CD player fitted by the previous owner, but I have sourced an original Ford CD player to go in, and the wheels are being replaced with (apparently very rare) 14" versions of the 15" 5 spokes which came on the Mk5 Escort RS2000's, in dark grey, with 185/55/14's.
I'm also planning on getting the bodywork sorted, just getting the scratches and stone chips painted, to because it really deserves it.
First up, here are the eBay pictures;
And a few of how it sat before I got the springs lowered, massive arch gap!
And finally, here's how it sits now, with the springs fitted and faces polished on the wheels, not many, but you get the idea;
Thankyou for looking, and as always, comments are welcome
