So, I'm looking for recommendations for a good garage who know their way around the common problems associated with the P38.
I've had mine for 6 months now, after buying it to scratch an itch. I've surprisingly decided I really like it, and an going to hold onto it. It's used daily, and gets worked a bit with weekly towing and some off road work. I've done 6000 miles in it, and its been (almost) faultless!
So, firstly...the EAS. I've had all four air springs replaced. I've also bought a known good second hand compressor and valve block. The suspension still has a mind of its own, to a certain extent. I want someone who knows what they're doing to sort it out. I also want diff and gearbox oils changing, the heater checking out, as it seems a bit useless, especially the windscreen demister. As a bonus, it'd be good if they knew their way round an LPG system as it could do with a service.
I'm located in Chesterfield, but happy to travel to the right place, and leave the car with the garage.
