So after finishing the w123 280e and not knowing what else to do with it,i seen a friends 190e and wanted it.had provisionaly sold the 280e but my mate was interested in doing a deal on my car. So deal done I'm now the proud owner of the merc. The engine conversion sold the car for me,it's been properly done and is a well specd car as standard. It's also fitted with a cossie kit with amg wheels. Rear boot spoiler deleted and lowered. It's got a couple of rust issues that need sorting out (drivers wing both rear arches and small patch in bootwell.)but I can do this over the winter. I'm not falling into the trap of doing this and not using it.so it's motd and insured ready to use . I will post pics up when I get home.

Hi there. its a 1989, on a private plate.it does go realy well and a lovely sounding engine. on the rust issues the drivers side front is obviously an easy replacement fix.the rear arches will get new 1/3rd panels .again drivers side needs slightly more doing but by no means uneconomical. Caused by the bodykit by the looks of it. ive taken rear wheels off to clean all under rear arches, ready for repairs and repaint so no hidden horrors. I'm after parts for the car, would like a bonnet mines ok but u tidier one would be better .anyone no of one breaking I'm in the cardiff area but can obviosly travel. thanks for looking.

Hi all .been a bit busy with the merc. Managed to get a bonnet, boot, two front wings, wing mirrors and a petrol cap that are in better condition than mine. I've fitted them all bar the drivers wing. Also replaced the aerial as it was snapped. Cleaned all under the arches ready for welding Just need to sell the porsche now for more room to work. Anyone after a 1979 924. It's really clean.just needs timing sorting out. Will get some pics up of progress.

Been way too long since I've put a report up on my mercedes but will try get get upto speed . Car is nearly ready for mot.just horn to sort and adjust the handbrake. A list of jobs done are 1.removed body kit to find the rust. 2.frontwings replaced. 3.bonnet changed. 4.boot replaced with non spoiler one. 5.both rear arches replaced.outer and inner. 6.new springs. 7.both rest sills repaired. 8.repaint panels and kit.
Will get some pics up as soon as possibly.
