1986 nissan micra, 3dr, pre-facelift.
CG13 twincam engine swap, from a k11 micra- runs full k11 engine, box, driveshafts, hubs, brakes.
dizzy conversion with bike carbs. pump in tank with pressure reg. all properly set up and jetted on a rolling road, dynoed at 85bhp. feels like a lot more to drive though as its so revvy!
6n polo raceland coilovers adapted to fit, 2000 miles old.
camber adjust lower arms.
modded exhaust, mostly stainless i think.
this used to belong to a mate of mine- i partially helped build it and did a lot of the fab work on it. it was a bit tider then, it got sold to someone who really didnt look after it, and messed up various bits even though he never drove it. i offered him a deal on it so it didnt end up getting totally trashed, which was how i ended up with it.
the shell itself is pretty good, it had various dents and scrapes (see pics) but no rot. i think it was fairly low milage when he got it, but had various pensioner parking scuffs. the arches have been rolled and flared (it used to run bandeds) and need filler work to finish. the white stuff all over it is plastidip, which peels off. ive been doing it bit by bit, but its a pretty tedious job. underneath most of it is silver, with some grey primer in places. the bonnet was bare metalled, left for a week then laquered. don't been too hard on him, he as 18 and trying to be one of the cool kids
the interior is pretty good, and needs little more than a clean. had a cheap jvc headunit in it, otherwise stock.
the engine conversion was done using a donor k11 1.3S. its the whole engine, 5 speed box, shafts, hubs, brakes (new at time of build 2000 miles ago). in fact the only k10 bits left at the front are the rack, radiator and the modified lower arms to run the larger balljoint size, which are also camber adjust.
uses stock k10 shifter too, so unless you pop the bonnet you'd never know its been done.
it runs a k10 dizzy on an adapter plate, and gsxr 600 carbs on a manifold i made.
its got polo 6n raceland coilovers all round, fitted in the usual manner.

and in better days-
CURRENT ISSUES-
water pump leaks
carbs don't idle very well, mounting rubbers have been messed with and theres an airleak somewhere. it does run, but idles high or it dies, and it hunts.
fan wiring has been messed with/removed.
choke cable has been messed with/removed.
no wheels or tyres. the ones on it where whater was lying round and held air, they don't fit on the centrebores properly so it cant be driven on them.
no tax or test.
curse word paint.
edit- v5 now found.
i don't have time to give to it at the mo, i just want it to go to someone who wont mess it up any more/will put it right, as its a pretty coll little car, a great first retro, and ean actually be insured by a young driver despite the mods.overall it doesnt need laods of work, a few simple mechanical jobs, a set of wheels and then some cosmetics.
you will need a trailer to collect, or might be able to sort someone to move it if paid for upfront.
