Hi All,
I've a "custom" header tank on my Land-Rover, that uses the kind of small rad cap found on Japanese stuff. Like this one:
I've had problems with my heater matrix leaking, and it dawned on me that the 1.1 bar (16psi) rad cap is probably the root cause of the issue, as the heater would originally have been part of a system with a 4psi cap on!
I've tracked down a 0.9 bar cap, and fitted that for the time being, but have had no luck finding anything below that. My local factors could only supply 1.1 bar or 0.9 bar versions...
So, my question to all the good folk of RetroRides is: do you know of anything that had one of these caps in a 0.6 or 0.7 bar flavour? Or any idea of where I could try?
Cheers for looking, all the best, Glen.
