	Hi guys as per the title. This bumper was left by the previous owner of my dads house in 1999, the guy restored classic mg tc's and such like but seems far too big and wrong style for one. The bumper is stainless steel with 2 over riders with rubber trim. It measures approx 64in wide so off a large car . I can upload more pics if needed. Any help identifying what its from would be great. cheers.

	I was thinking because its stainless steel 60's/70's. what bmw did you have in mind? thanks for the reply.

	ive searched on and off for years but never found anything. its off a wide car as its nearly as wide as my sd1. I thought I was onto one with a peugeot but no joy.

	Tim I think your very close on that one, I will have to get a few more pics. the opel bumper seems to have different fixings though and as you mentioned different overriders but yes that could be the bumper. ive stripped it for cleaning so will post pics without overriders too. Mant thanks. If anyone has any other ideas on the make please keep them coming.

	I thought Spitfire at first but the throwbacks are much gentler making more of an arc. I'm sure it's going to end up being some kind of Triumph unit or Opel unit though. www.classicsportscars.eu/spitfire/PICTURES/mk3/triumph-spitfire-mk3-front.JPG

	the over riders look closer together in the photo i posted though? (unless that was incorrectly advertised as a p6 bumper of course )

	the overriders were held on with one 13mm nut so maybe more modern than expected. The holes in the bumper look factory so maybe the overriders are more modern. It cant be p6 bumpers as they curve round more. Heres a few more pics, not the best as its dark and my workshop light is curse word.
