Still cannot get a pedal on my P100 - What the hell is wrong with it! New flexi hoses - no leaks Handbrake works fine but have bled it 3 times now with all new fluid and pedal still goes to the floor! Only thing I can see that looks strange is when you pump the pedal, the fluid in the reservoir 'moves' about quite a bit but doesn't on my daily? Could the master cylinder be at fault? It was brand new but had seized over time - We freed it up, cleaned and it seems to work as it should? At my wits end now

Did you bleed it by pumping the master to the floor ? that can blow the seals in the master, the older the master or longer it's sat about the easyer it is to blow them that way? Try cracking a pipe union at the master and see if there is any pressure, if there is try wedging the light laden vavlve fully open and re bleed, sometimes they refuse to bleed if the rear suspension is lowerd or there's a load in the back and they need opening to clear the air in the rear system.

If it was single circuit I'd say the seal that covers the inlet port on the m/c isn't sealing, if the fluid level in the reservoir is going up as the pedal is pressed then the inlet port isn't getting closed off properly, being duel circuit then more likely the m/c seals/bore are goosed.

Bortaf, As I am never going to carry a load, can I remove the light laden valve all together?

no, as that would allow ALL of the braking pressure to the rear, not what you want.

No mate as welshpug says that will make for circular driving (180 Deg spins all the time) pluss it will fail the MOT on it not being there
