At 6pm tonight over 100 Triumphs containing a mixture of two and three people will leave a pub near Potters Bar then spend the next 48 hours driving 2000 miles. Tomorrow morning we'll be having breakfast in John o' Groats, Sunday morning we'll have breakfast in Lands End, then we'll be back at the pub that evening (we all hope!). In between we'll be driving some of the best roads England, Scotland and Wales have to offer, as well as some of the most tedious bits of motorway! I'll be throwing photos up to Facebook as we go and if you want to know a little more about the event or would like to donate to this years charity - Macmillan Cancer Support - try the links below. www.triumph.org.uk/cgi-bin/comps/mxcontent.cgi?pid=3www.justgiving.com/company/RBRRStoke me a clipper, I'll be back for Christmas.

Good luck! Does the route pass the border on or near the east coast? If so, my dad and I may pop out for a look *n

Top grammar tips! Bought = purchased. Brought = relocated Lose = misplace/opposite of win. Loose = your mum

Sorry for the late reply! I obviously couldn't on the run and yesterday was spent sorting things out and recovering - should be over it by Christmas. I'll do a proper post when I get time but I'm about to run out the door. Here's a late Facebook link for you to drink some coffee to; www.facebook.com/groups/136799326355485/?fref=nfAnd here's a copy and paste from the events blog which has a nice early round-up of how people dfid. ctrbrr.blogspot.co.ukAnd yep, we completed it. The glove box wouldn't open at all requests and our petrol cap gave up and required a screwdriver after we'd left Wales. Not bad! That's the fourth time I've entered and completed it now, one day I'll figure out the addiction!

Dolly 1850HL (shiny green one, or at least it was at the start!). Not mine, I've enough on my plate with the Marina fleet, I was just co- pilot.
Although I now have massive want for a 2000 or 2500...
