1999 Skoda Felicia 1.3LXi
MOT - Aug 2015
Tax - None
Mileage - 98k
After a brief ownership, my Feli is up for sale. I had wanted a Felicia on coilovers for a long time, and when I spotted this one for sale locally I snapped it up. What I didn't do was look at the suspension which turns out to be chopped springs. As this was the sole reason for buying it, and not having the funds/facilities to fit coilovers (focus fronts and mk2 golf rears fit) I'm putting it back up for sale.
The Good
it comes with full service history, it runs great and on my daily commute i was averaging 43MPG. Its quite nippy for a 1.3 too, and the PAS is nice an light. It also has the strut brace from a 1.9D version fitted. It is rolling on a set of 13x7 Mamba alloys, with 165/70's on teh front (1 is in need of changing soon, but the spare has a good tyre of the same size)and 175/50's on the rear. There is some arch scrub marks on the rear tyre. It also has a home made exhaust that exits out the side of the front bumper on the passenger side. Its not overly loud, but it does rattle on tick-over.
The not so good
As mentioned above, it is running on chopped springs and is very low and the ride is pretty harsh. It is a proper giggle to drive though.
It also had a unviversal cone filter fitted, but this had snapped on it mounting face and has been removed.
There is some rust in teh drivers rear arch, and bolth the rear arches have been crudely rolled
