My rides; XJS 4.0 Celebration E30 318is Had the XJS since November last year, has 90,000 miles with full & extensive history, just had a major service done which included all fluids - diff oil, trans fluid, brake fluid, engine oil, and coolant, all filters and plugs, fuel filter had never been changed before. The E30 I only got about 3 months ago, kinda spur of the moment thing, when I was driving down to the GP early July. Had same service done on the E30, (except trans fluid, was gear oil - obv !) I've spent countless hours detailing them both.

The jag is even better looking than I expected, You've done a really good job detailing both of them.

Have you decided if you're going to lower the BM yet? My advice would be if you are go no lower than 30mm on the front and 40mm on the rear. Mine has dropped 40mm at the front and 50mm at the rear and it looks so much better for it, drives better through the corners but speed bumps have become my arch enemy, I have to crawl over them now which I wasn't expecting to when I first picked it up, took the first bump at the speed I usually would, and the floor scraped and made all sorts of crashing noises, made worse by the fact a bunch of chavs were watching.

The M42 engine has a very low sump and is the lowest part of the car, so you do have to be careful on speedbumps. Mine has been on 60mm drop for a few years with no problems but I always go over speedbumps with the wheels rather than the middle of the car. Both your rides look great btw

It was, went to the nurburgring in it in summer. They're great cars in so many ways. Just put it on SORN for the winter, being tempted by forced induction

Hi, not really been on here for a wee while, thanks for all the nice comments - Not sure yet about going lower or keeping it standard Jim ? ! colour is Kingfisher blue, I'll put more pics of them both probably in separate posts tho - Think I'm gona get the B M resprayed in the spring, 15" wheels - same style tho, maybe get an M tech 2 steering wheel too. Have to get the wheels refurbed on the Jag, they're diamond cut tho, and are £100 or more per wheel - yikes ! + I need both bumpers resprayed, well not "need" more I would like them done !!
Anyway, its Thursday night and we're off to Birmingham in the morning - thats my wife & I, going to the classic show at the NEC (wife not going to the show) - thumbs up to that !! Anyone else going ? I'll probably put up a thread when I get back,

Those are two fantastic looking cars. With the way E30 prices are going i would be wanting to keep it as standard as possible. Unmodified cars are going to be worth more in the future. Definitely need more pics of both machines.
