Weak one photo thread sorry, BUT in my defence I really tried to find other decent modified W168 or W169 A-class' but it genuinely seems the only decent A-class is this one that I stumbled upon on Instagram while searching for photos of Antera three spokes.... Surly someone else must know of other decent examples??? In the meantime I'm in love with the car above it looks spot on, nice drop, perfect wheels and you could build something like this on a serious budget early A-class' can be picked up for literally peanuts plenty of cool 5x112 wheels to choose from.

Really like early A-Classes but you're right, jolly difficult to find pics, even using the 'W168' model designation. Innovative little cars with lots of potential - it's just a shame they were produced during Merc's era of not really building cars very well.

Sigh- I knew it - once prices drop below 1000€, people will suddenly start to find them attractive and cool - it's always the same... I still think they'r fugly abominations...

I've always quite liked them, but then I have a soft spot for function over form cars. The canted engine, sandwich floor etc was a neat way of getting such a large interior. I don't even mind the styling, though I can see it's an acquired taste...

We had one, the LWB version, they are pretty unbeatable on space for the money and make a change from Renault Scenic that seem to be other option. Some of them even the passenger seats unclip leaving you a massive van like load area, or plenty big enough to sleep in I'd guess.
