BMW E34 525i M50 engine, manual 5sp box
The clutch release bearing was making one hell of a racket, so I've had the box off and replaced both the clutch and the release bearing with a respectable make (LUK). The old bearing was destroyed, the ball bearings fell out when we removed the box.
Now it's back together, the clutch feels quite nice and light, however it is still noisy when FULLY depressed from cold. You can depress it just beyond the biting point and it's quiet, and when it's warmed up it's nice and quiet too. However when you press the clutch pedal to the floor after just starting it up it makes a rotational whirry noise....
Suggestions?!
