Let down by a shady eBayer...in urgent need for an O/S Mx-5 brake caliper from a 1.8 (my research seems to suggest that 1.8 calipers aren't the same as 1.6)
Anybody breaking a 1.8?
PM or email xp_mckenna AT yahoo.co.uk
Cheers!

1.8 have different bleed nipple locations to the 1.6
Have you tried Junkyard Dog or Autolink on Mx5 nutz both do next day and are very reasonable.

Calipers are the same, carriers differ.

Cheers, I thought they were different...got a refund from my eBay messer, then sourced another one (cheaper) from a different online breakers - happy days!

Your ebayer wasnt a messer or shady, as above the calipers are perfectly compatible all you need to do is swap the pins round on the carriers to suit.
