My E30 itch is about ten years old now. I was so close to scratching it I could smell it.... But I just lost my job without any warning at all so I'm back on the scrap heap and stuck with my big diesel bus. But it doesn't hurt to look. Actually, it does a bit. I have no plans for a nice, cosy E30 road car. I don't need a sensible car so I want a stripped out hooligan with a loud paint job. Full cage, slick tyres and battle scars. There's a few V8 powered E30's that get to the local drift days and I'm a little bit in love with them so that's my ultimate plan. I'd settle for a 1.6 auto at the minute. I'll just keep waiting and waiting.....       |

That top one is stunning. I'm biased cos I had an E34 525i, the lights and grille of that era BMW still look fantastic.

Not the best time to tell you that in 2006 i picked up a more door 1.6 with a years ticket for £80?
I think i got the last ever cheap E30.
You know the rules, go for the metal bumper 4 doors, you might well still find one for under a grand...

Yes, I can well imagine it. Years ago when my mates were running around in them you could get them for next to nothing. A garage near me was selling a grey 325 sport for £800 and it took them months to shift it but I had a Manta at the time. They've come into favour bit time now though. Any decent 325 with tax and test seems to be 4-5 grand on Ebay. Whatever, I'll get one eventually. The other car I'm obsessed with is a mk2 Escort so the E30 still looks like a bargain.    |

I can just trump you.... i was GIVEN this one just over a year ago. for free. with a factory hard top   shouldn't have sold it really  |

Here's my down and dirty E28 m535i 3.5 (m1.3 conversion) prefacelift E30 320i, work in progress... I'm hoping for an MOT later this month  Once back in one piece should look like...   What wheels are these . Love e30's. Had a 325 baur cab and a mate of mine has 3 at the min tourer cab amd 4 door lol , have been after one my self for a while but things always seem to get in the way house roof washing machine etc the list is endless but least I've got a mk2 escort the keep me occupied lol sorry to rub salt in your wound lol |

My fathers bmw garage sold this new looks to still have the original front plate on it L.J.K Garages I think you're right, I'm pretty sure it is L J K Garages! Small world... The front plate is heavily cracked so I'm not sure it will do another MOT so it's likely they'll both be replaced soon  |
