Now available again due to time waster, put it through the MOT for the new buyer, went through no problems so now comes with 12 months.
Going to have to pass on my little XJ6, I've not had it long at all but as my partners shifts have changed I need to call something into daily use and I just don't have the wallet to bankroll this as a daily.
It's a red 1995 Jaguar X300 XJ6 with the 3.2 straight six engine.
-77,800 miles
-Full service history, 17 main dealer Jaguar stamps in the hand book, the latest years have been a Jaguar specialist (receipts included)
-4 matching Falkens with plenty of tread, only a few year old
-Serviced last year, even with Jaguar OE coolant!
-All original hand books/manuals/service books
-5 owners, one is me, one before was a Jaguar dealer, the initial 3 have pampered it
-The ONLY slight bit of early stage rust is on the bottom of one wing, the sills could be brand new
-Electrics all work, climate control and the fabled digital clock works too!
It is an absolute pleasure to drive, can't really describe it as anything else. Quiet and comfortable. Someone has spent some serious cash keeping it in the condition it is in and it shows, everything works. Engine is smooth and quiet and the gearbox (4 speed auto) is seamless. The only negative I can think of is it has suffered a bit of lacquer peel on the roof and the A pillar, common with these Jaguars unfortunately. Oh, and the fuel economy. Which I could stomach as a weekend vehicle for wafting me to the pub and back but certainly not as a work horse.
Interior is half leather half cloth and aside from some bolster wear on the drivers seat is pretty immaculate. It has a 3 or 4 year old stereo fitted with a CD player and aux (fitted to the tune of about £200 by an auto electrician no doubt, as the receipt shows)
Tax is October 2014, the MOT is now 12 months, passed with zero advisories.
Located in Leeds, feel free to PM for more information or whatever. Happy to accommodate viewings for the seriously interested.
