a mate had this sitting on his garden for god knows how long until i saved it a couple of weeks ago, did the work needed to get it through an mot and planed to slam it on some wide wheels and use it as a cool ratty work horse. since having it on the road i've used it twice and once again its becoming a garden ornament so I'm putting it up for sale
good points
had new drop links, front hard lines, cam belt, wiper blades, cherry bomb for mot. engine runs well and sounds nice and smooth
bad points
looks very rough inside and out (although this could also be seen by some as a good point), would need body work and paint to look tidy again and the interior is typical of an old workhorse. its had plenty of welding in the past. fuel gauge doesn't work, nor does temp gauge but no sign of overheating (i'll try and sort this if i get spare time). brakes started to lose pressure when being applied for long amounts of time last time i drove it, i'm gonna try and sort these tomorrow.
if i get the asking price there are some spares that i will chuck in (two good doors, wood trim dash with clocks, 2 litre pinto, other odds and sods)
not really looking for swaps but that doesn't mean that i wouldn't be tempted by something like an xr3 project
