Hey everyone!
I've been having some odd problems in my 1964 Mercedes.
When the engine is running the booster doesn't work at all, so the pedal drops and braking effort is greatly increased.
However, when I turn off the engine the pedal is high, and firm. It feels boosted, and it retains the vacuum. Pumping it a few times releases the vacuum of course.
Vacuum is getting to the booster, and sucking on it didn't reveal the booster to leak.
What could it be?
