1987 Peugeot 205 1.1GL, four speed, five door hatchback.
MOT 7th July
Taxed November (probably end of November, possibly the start)
Only two reg'd owners.
Great runner, ace on fuel and, dare I say, it's SNAZZY.
136k.
Has what I assume is the original (God awful) 'stereo' but it gets Radio 5 Live, or one of those channels.
Despite being a GL the spec is pretty dire and you can forget anything like central locking, power steering or any of that curse word.
It's got charm by the bucket load.
The body work has myriad dents, the o/s/r 'arch meets sill' area will want a tickle with a welder or some canny filler.
The gear stick disintegrated so has truly horrible modern one fitted.
The interior has done an eighties Talbot thing, by which I mean the sun's rays have NON NOM NOMD all the fabric.
Paintwork flatter than my chances of a bunk up with Cameron Diaz.
Sadly, and rather predictably, it was another whim buy that isn't getting used so should go to someone who will look after it. It really shouldn't be changed though imho, it's appeal is it's current unloved looking state, it really does appear as if it was found on a French peasant's drive and honestly is all the better for it.
No wild promises of unending reliability and never having to spend money on it, it's an old French car and as such will almost certainly behave like an old French car. or a new one, come to that.
SOLD* cash on collection from Chester. Sorry, no offers, there's a right old chunk of tax on it included so I think it's very fairly priced.
As usual 'txt tlkrs' morons, 'what's ur best price' questions and requests to keep it for weeks on end until you've sold your nan's methadone prescription will be ignored or ridiculed.
