Hi Guys
I've been offered an eclat cheap as chips because they're not the most desirable model!
Is there anything I could do to it to make it look cool? Anyone got anything other than google image results?

Lowered + Wheels (JDM 4x114.3 wheels at that!) is the simple formula .. and it works, on pretty much everything.

oh, and don't forget to wear sunglasses, that allways works! just driving one of these is cool.....low and wide is allways a good solution but you could make it into an africa rallye car (bullbar, forest arches, lights and studdes tyres)  |

Is there anything I could do to it to make it look cool? They are pretty damn cool as standard so you're onto a winner from the word go...!!! Just get it and think about what to do with it when it's in your care... |

Never even heard of the lotus eclat till now, they look pretty quirky, I'd say don't mess with it too much, standard diameter wheels but wider, possibly wider on the back than the front? Hit it with the lowering stick, subtle old skool stuff maybe, bullet mirrors?

Yeh that's one of my thoughts tbh Its a 2ltr 1977 car, been in storage for 20years. It was parked up because it kept scraping up someones lane and they couldn't stand hearing it. Major cool,suppose the question is to keep it somewhere original (and more valuable in some peoples eyes) or go for it with the mods. Chassis is the most important thing on these (14 bolts and it drops out),i know the excel chassis fits with a few mods and gives you better brakes. Good find, what ever you do to it l'd make sure you could put it back to original, look at Europa's they were worthless for a while now they are uber cool and command a decent price, so as mentioned before time will tell, but until then engoy!

True.....Could be made reliable i have seen a 13b,a Rover v8 and a Duratec v6 turbo slot into one of these just need to think about the gearbox (weak) and the lsd mount (made from cream cheese)
