As the real retro motors I have had being either rotting on my drive or now sold my daily drive, thankfully is still 'interesting'
I needed a family hack so looked around for something yaris-like and 18 months ago a racing friend had the bB newly up for sale at a bargain price. I knew it would have been looked after so I snapped it up. Looked like this to begin with.
Obligatory tokyo subway ring applied and you might notice a nurburgring sticker...which some may usually place on without going. Unfortunately I haven't been but the car has :-)
After having it over a year now I have only done a few things as it already had a blitz filter and HKS exhaust and was already very low on springs so all I wanted to do was add my bits to it
Gave it a bloody good clean and polish and put the OEM front grill back on too
A bit of tyre white painting too :-)
Purchased some beaten up OEM side skirts and repaired them, painted etc
Had a meet up at Houghton Tower classic car show last year with Carl and his gen 1 Celica.
After the MOT I needed tyres but had no cash so put on wheels with tyres I had on my sera. Not sure which I prefer
She sits currently with not much else done but I'm sure something will pop up in my head to do something. I'm still not happy with wheel choice so I'm looking for something to replace what's on it
