I Think its worth a chuckle.. Is this in england?
Love how far the wheels stick out, And the exhuast.. Its silly but a different kind of silly than the guys who try to have 10 backbox's.. Like they could be much more creative with the exhuast.. the rear reg as well.. Really goes look like Tennis balls will start to shoot out of the exhaust. I actually don't think this will look too bad, i like that it doesnt feel like its trying to hard, it knows its silly, and its just trying to be the class clown.

I like it except the exhaust. Fun little K car. Wonder why it's never caught on over in the UK with high fuel and insurance costs.

3rd picture down.. how the f**k do they get the exhuasts to stay put? i mean.. look at the 3rd picture from the top, the car next to it.. Is it kool to have silly exhuasts sticking out everywhere over there..? imagine a car not seeing it and running into it, or pedestrians falling over it? I'm sure theres a reason they are tucked away nicely as standard

I'm sure theres a reason they are tucked away nicely as standard Welding. That's how. They are welded on. Welding is very strong. It's how your car is put together when new, so it stands to reason that they are fine. These kind of cars are also not every day cars too. They are cruisers, built to be anti-social. Look it up More so, I think you are missing the point of this thread and retro rides in general..

You must be new here James, Have a good Google session about Bosozoku style and Garuchan style, and Japan in general (cos its a Japanese car and build, not Chinese), then come back with a more open mind.

Anyway, in other news, cool find Robin, thanks for sharing. This is kind of the route I'm trying to get a few friends of mine to follow with one of their bubble-shape Rover 214's. It already has slanty headlights from new and it now has 0 offset rota's and ranger bob arches so it's on the right track

Hotwire - thanks for that link, it explains a lot for me.
I always find you appreciate the styles people are into when you find out a bit of history about the cars or people involved in those styles.
It's the same with Retrobikes which is what I have (until I can get my Volvo Land Barge as my first retro) - there's a great story behind every build.

RobinXr4i - that 3rd pic down in your last post!! I was flicking past it and thought those pipes behind the car (I assume it is vent pipes at a petrol station) were the cars exhausts!!!!!
