I'm selling a 1993 Mini Mayfair, which has just been fully rebuilt.
The car comes with a fresh 12 months MOT with no advisories at all and 6 months tax.
Covered 79,000 miles from new and comes with lots of old MOT's and history
The resoration included a new front subframe, any rust was cut out and new metal welded in. I did see some photos pre-restoration and it wasn't too bad at all really, but has undergone a thorough refresh all over. Recently rebuilt engine which starts first turn of the key with no hesitation, runs sweetly and pulls well in every gear. Gearbox is good, no crunching gears. New suspension, new bushes, completely new brakes front and rear. Goes and stops very well indeed. Many receipts for new parts and other new items include new front wings, A-Panel, new rear valance. Good interior, good battery, needs nothing really and is good to drive away. Also lots of new trim such as rubber seals etc.
Also comes with original document wallet with all original handbooks and original service book with some stamps. Information on supplying dealer (Dutton Forshaw, Preston) and still has the original dealer rear number plate.
Only thing that wasn't reinstated during the rebuils was any stereo, but I've ordered a new aerial, new Pioneer Headunit which included CD player, aux in for iPod etc and USB connection and new speakers, which are all included in the sale.
I actually sourced this car on behalf of someone I know for her daughter who is about to turn 17 and wanted a Mini for her first car. We'd been looking for a couple of months for the right car and as luck would have it, I found this car and snapped it up straight away on the very same weekend they happened to find another and did the same. I've been driving around in it since it was taxed and it's great. Hasn't missed a beat. I'm just a little too big for it!
I'm looking for what it owes me. Nothing more and nothing less and that is £2200
Car is located in Bridgnorth, Shropshire.
Cheers
Mike
