I've decided I'm probably never going to use this and it's a shame to have it just sat there. As you'll read, I've powered this up abd got it to accept and play a disc. I did try wiring an amp up to no avail, although I'm pretty certain I've done something wrong as nothing seemed to be making a connection to the 12v Scalextric transformer.
Condition wise, it looks pretty good aside from there's wear to one of the buttons on the front where the plastic has gone white. It's also very tight in its cage but I guess that can be sorted easily enough.
Judging from the repsonse on the what's it worth thread, I'm looking for £100 for it, which I think is fair.
It's probably going to go best on ebay as I haven't seen one on there for an absolute age, but thought I'd see if there's any interest here. No silly offers please (I like it too much to let it go for nothing) but I'm happy to answer any questions the best I can.
Also comes with the original handbook.
