I am in need of a fuel pump relay (321906059C) for my RS1600i and they are the same as mk1/early 2 Golf GTi, as they al use KE Jetronic. Discontinued at Ford for a long time, now. Wherever I look, they are either unavailable, don't have the in-built fuse or in the case of the one below, over £40 plus p&p. Anyone know a decent Dub place that sell these?

Yeah, I need the one with the fuse, as the fuel pump circuit has no other protection and I don't want to chop the wiring about etc. Good point on the possible internal fuse, I will try and find out. Second hand is not an option for me, as they wear out. That's why I don't have the proper one ATM. GSF had them for just over £30 and apparently Euro Car Parts do them for £25ish. When I look and ask, GSF ones seem unavailable, now and ECP don't list anything. Google searching old eBay listings gave the impression that they were £20-£25ish, but it seems that the going rate is more like £40. I guess I will just have to stop being tight.

The eBay linked one is no good for KE jetronic. I don't know why, but I presume it would just lead to what I have now and that is the pump priming all of the time. The second one is indeed the part I want. It's also over £40 (it's their pic I used in the OP). I'm not always tight lol. I often pay good money for parts. I just think these relays are a bit of a rip! I think I am sorted now. Ordered one from mechatechnic.com,some French site. Only about £24, posted. Here's hoping it turns up! Cheers again, mate.

MB fuel pump relais are completely different Another option igh be to have the old relais repaired After all they'r (nowadays) very simple electronics. Might be as easy as resoldering some joints and swap out a couple of cendensers. New repro-parts are often just not as good (RoHs conforming solder, cheap materials etc. etc.). But 24 quid is worth a try. Still - I'd look into having the old relais repair. Even if it is just for having a "emergency back up" relais Cheers, Jan
