Had these on my nova but sold it so now they have no use to me. Wheels are 6J x 15 ET33 4 x 100. Tyres are brand new nankang 165 50 15 and have done half a mile or so. Wheels are in good condition but not mint.     450 pound, Collection from Thame, HP17 Gareth 07771 857417 |

Correct. Too many people with no money offering silly deals. I am not selling them for £61 when the tyres cost more than double that. I will happily sit on them until a serious buyer comes along.

Ignore the moans above. We all know that if you want something enough, you have to push for it. If I see a car for sale which I like, I push to get a contact number and push to get first view. That's how I bought my current mk2 Golf VR6 and I know for a fact that had I hesitated, or waited to see what happened, someone else would have been straight in before me.
I totally empathise with your reasons for pulling the ad early on ebay and would do the same if the interest wasn't what I hoped for. The wheels look great; they're different enough to drum up interest if advertised in the right place. Have you tried them on Edition38? It's where I bought my Mk2 and people on there generally have a pretty good idea of values and rarity. Worth a pop anyhow.

Classified ad. Got a slightly high price but would take offers? Buy it now option with best offer. Won't accept less than £xx??? Set a start price or reserve. Not getting much interest? Write a good ad with the right key words. SIMPLE. You put something up for sale then changed your mind, but I bet you'd whinge to high heaven if someone bought them and then changed their mind, how is it different? By the way, eBay are introducing fees to prevent sellers doing exactly what you did because it contravenes their code of practise. Rant over. I've had a bad day but people like you guys are spoiling eBay... I don't remember inviting you to comment on my thread again after the last time you piped up. You have nothing of interest to add to my thread, so simply do not comment. It obviously bothers you that much so instead of filling my thread with tripe, please forward your grievances to ebay who i'm sure will be happy to accommodate your issues. |

I've been here, on RR for a good few years, I'm a long way from the biggest poster, but used USED to be proud to be a member on here, used to have RR stickers in the rear windows of all my cars, whenever I saw a cool old car I used to ask the driver if he/she was on RR and if she wasn't I used to write the web address down and tell them to get on here, because it was THE place to be for anything retro car related. I loved this place.
Then I started to get "your not a member on there are you!?" And "can't stand that place, too cliquey" or just "bunch of ars@holes"
Can't imaging where people get that idea from.....

Thank's bud. It's the way of the world unfortunately where by people will always whinge if something doesn't go their way, I can probably include myself if that too. However, still doesn't take away from the fact people are rubbishing my thread as they didn't get the opportunity to buy something cheap.
Ebay is a good place to get a feel for a value on certain things. The problem with ebay is that you can only get the feeler for the exact time you have something listed. I am not desperate for the money so can just as easy leave them in my unit until such a time as they sell on a forum or I decide to use them elsewhere.
