Tax June 2014 MOT Dec 2014 102k miles (going up as it in daily use) Car is solid and I haven't had it long but have changed a tyre and the battery and a minor cleaned up, I will detail the car in the next few days and take more pics. I have seen a 960 volvo on here and want that, if that sells I will keep this and fix the faults. Faults Passager window not working. Rip in drivers seat along the seem Minor rust bubbles on arches but solid Dings and dents (brought from old guy who have last 16 years) Alarm triggers once locked from drivers door but ok if locked from boot (I think its the bonnet switch) Water ingress after rain on passenger front and rear foot wells this has decrease since a quick clean of door drain. Car seems to have had monies spent on it bill for £1.5k on gearbox renew at 75k and was told that brakes and front suspension fixed by dealer (no receipt) but they look new for what's that worth. I will post few more pics after a deep clean. Raz

That is a thing of beauty... manual or auto? It does have presence, it a auto with kick down and a Sports button. Its got adjustable suspension modes and is very original, champagne center alloys suit it perfectly. Its got the most desirable engine and some one has asked for that already but I rather sell it to someone to keep it going. I just started doing it up but so want another Volvo that I've seen, there are only 96 of these on the road so if you ever wanted to drive one heres your chance. I will take a few pictures tomorrow as the back end looks great;-)

Awesome, love Senators, regret selling my last one two years ago, saved that from being scrapped, and what a car it was. GLWYS

another one saying good luck with the sale. Ive got one identical bar the colour and its a fantastic car, astonishing how fast they are for their size. Autobox with Sport and kickdown is fine to, hold it in 1st or 2nd and it'll drift all day long!

It just feels well put together and it weirdly fast, you wouldn't expect a barge to shift half as well as it does, handles very well too for such a large car. I got so use to curse word low down speeds in my turbo'd car and this thing is pure class and looks huge next to our Cavalier. Its the daddy of our collection for sure and well worth it. Many thanks for the kind words peeps!

I miss my old senator. Massive power and had some fun chasing newer high performance cars and brap brap boys in honda integra's..... Bought it for £450 and did a bit of work on it. I had to sell it in the end and got £600 for it shame because it was a low miler with a digi dash and lots of extras. Everything worked! One car I wish id kept. Wish i had room for another! Have a picture.

any interior pics fella? Also, do you know why the window doesn't work? has it got an lsd? And does it smell damp inside at all from the wet footwells? sorry for all the questions lol The window clicks so assume its a mirco switch or the motor, its a common fault with the senators for window mirco switches to fail, I haven't had a good look but can't be to hard to solve everything else works fine. No smell of damp, I think the leak has stopped as it a seem to be dry even after the heavy rain, previous owner said it has occurred over the winter when parked on a hill! I will take a few pics of the arches and interior today but I haven't done anything with the leather, my aim is to steam clean it then nourish the leather and will do that on the weekend and update the pics. I think that the manual cars had LSD but i'm sure someone will come along shortly and confim. I have advertised it on Gumtree and car and classic yesterday and have put it up for more, but I think £800 is fair.

Thats got some seriously tidy arches for a senny. They've usually all gone by now.
Check the bulk head on the drivers side (above the pedals) for ROT. Thats where mine had turned to crusty rust and letting water from the scuttle in.
And I would say if you can here a clicking from the window, its most likely the motor.
Really got a soft spot for senators....... Which I shouldnt ;(
