For sale - my M20 B25 high compression engine with all ancillaries, E30Zone ECU+Wild chip, a choice of gearbox too. £300ono.
The engine:
I bought it from a trusted member of the E30 Zone a year or so ago. If I remember rightly it was apparently owned by an old chap who passed away. The seller acquired it from the chap's widow who was getting rid of all his old car parts, before listing it on the E30Zone.
I replaced timing belt and water pump before it went in the car. It had a replacement crank position sensor and several flushes of coolant and an oil change.
The widow didn't have any of the car's history, so mileage is unknown. But it has been in my car for the past 6 months and has been running well as a daily drive. There is no gunk under the oil filler cap, and it doesn't smoke. I am selling to start a Toyota 1JZ turbo swap.
ENGINE
- High compression "6E" engine
- "Wild" 325 chip from the Zone.
- Recent timing belt and water pump
- New intake boot for the swap
- Spare set of injectors to send for cleaning can be included.
- Radiator included
- Standard exhaust manifold
- Decent clutch.
GEARBOX
You can have either gearbox, or both for a little extra. I have:
- Getrag 260, which is the standard (non-sport) 325 gearbox.
- Getrag 240, from my old M20B20. Shorter first gear, very close ratio to the 325 Sport ratios. eBay short shift kit fitted.

Video of engine running before I remove it. You can see the exhaust is nice and clean and it idles nicely, at the centre of the temp gauge. It was cold on Saturday too!
