Just wanted to say hello - didn't find an extra introduction thread. My name is Stefan, 47 years old, from Nürnberg, Germany (Nuernberg? Nuremberg? Whatever - you get the idea). Please excuse me if my English is awkward, maybe I can learn a bit here. I am more in American expressions, when I looked through the Mini workshop manual, I was surprised that a Mini has no transmission at all, but a gearbox instead! At the moment I have a '89 VW Caddy and a '91 Mazda MX-5, and my gf has a '77 Renault 4 and a '90 Mini 1000. Lot of work to keep 'em all running. I will soon start threads in the "rides" section.

I am more in American expressions, when I looked through the Mini workshop manual, I was surprised that a Mini has no transmission at all, but a gearbox instead! Haha! Yeah, gearboxs are different. They have gear levers instead of a stick, or shifter. Our engines are slightly different too, they run on something called petrol, not gas. Oh, and the average fizzy pop can (we don't drink soda) is made from aluminium, which Americans don't have. Welcome to RR

Hello Outrage
I know Nurnberg/ Nuernberg/ Nuremberg pretty well, some of my wife's friends and her sister live there so we visit at least once a year - seems like a nice place to live
I've spotted a few cool old cars while wandering around - will keep an eye out for one of yours next time we are there

Here you are. It's an older picture, but not much has changed. We try to keep it original.

Wilkommen! Your Renault 4 looks amazingly clean, very nice! Reminds me how long it's been since I've seen one on the road, or at a show for that matter...
