Ok, it's the time again, I need to clear some space as 11 cars is about 6 too many and since getting the Storia I've not used the rally car.
Model: Daihatsu Cuore Avanzato TRXX-R4

Price: £2200 for both cars and lots of spares
Contact details: PM or post here
This is one of the original challenge series rally cars prepared by Harry Hockly. It is a tad scruffy, but it is a used rally car, which to me adds character. It has 11k miles on the clock and comes with loads of spares, and a total of 3 sets of the custom made rally wheels (4x 110 pcd). It currently doesn't have T&T, but if there is serious interest I will put 12 months MOT on it for the price stated. It's done probably 200 miles since it was last MOT'd and is regularly started and moved, so the brakes don't stick etc. I expect it to pass an MOT without issue.
For those that aren't aware of the challenge series cars they took a standard 659cc turbo, 4wd road going avanzato and gave it to harry Hockly to prepare for a one make series. They were completely stripped out, have FIA spec roll cages, plumbed in fire extinguishers, kill switch. The fuel and brake lines run through the inside of the car. There is a very substantial sump guard at the front and a heavy guard over the fuel tank at the back of the car so very little underneath is exposed. The springs and shocks were custom made and are incredibly firm. The ecu was also modified and has a rev limit somewhere around 10k rpm. This one also has a stage timer fitted. There is also a custom made stainless steel exhaust from the cat back fitted that has only done about 1000 miles.

The road car mentioned here is externally scruffy, most panels are dented or scratched and it has been unused for approx 2 years It has 47k on the clock. When it was last used the aircon, electric mirrors, windows etc all worked. It did have a couple of issues though, fuel gauge not working, rear diff leaked a bit of oil and there is no prop-shaft fitted. I used it for 6 months or so like this, topped up the diff when needed and the car ran fine in 2wd without the prop-shaft. I do have a spare fuel tank, rear axle and prop-shaft with the rally spares. I have also acquired a matching JDM rear light so they match.
