m.flickr.com/#/photos/kurt_blythman/10385011315/Hi all! I'm not 100% sure if this is the right section but feel free to move. I'm after some 8"/ 10" possibly more wide 'bubbley' (for lack of a better word) type archs that i seem to commonly see on 911's. Been looking for a few days now and cannot find a lot at all! Does anyone know a supplier? Or even bettee does anyone make them? Wider the better!! The image shows the sort of style I'm after Any help much apreciated! Thanks MIKE

I have nothing to add to this thread except I hope they're going on something crappy like a renault modus or a daewoo tacuma actually on a serious note try rangerbob - he does these but I'm sure he can do something special for the right price?

You would be better to check out what tyre sizes are available first, then buy/ alter wheels to carry these that will fit the car without putting too much extra load into the wheel bearings etc and keeping steering load down to a minimum...which probably means some front suspension geometry changes to put the steering axis as close to the tyre centre as possible.
Once you have got this far, making or sourcing arches to cover them is the easy bit. Starting off by getting arches and then working backwards is much more difficult and doesn't really make a lot of sense..... unless it IS for something like a 911 Turbo on which the parts to use along with them should already be well documented.

that is exactly the style I'm after! i shall ask ranger bob, thanks,
readers rides will also finally get an update of alot of crazy happenings!
and Turbeam, thanks for the advise, i have traced two subframes for the car in question and they alone poke out the existing "wide" arches by an 2" or so, so going to need to modify steering geometry majorly. still havent sorted wheels so I'm just trying to source some archs so i know who to turn to when the time comes and then il get them made to fit the wheels. thanks guys Mike
