Description:
advertising for a good friend- please do not PM me his contact details are above I have just been asked to advertise this as other projects require rebuilding so this is surplus!
its a 1964 ford corsair , 1500 pre xflow (with weber carb rebuilt), 4 speed Emmanuel (floor change ) runs really sweet regularly serviced and we believe rebuilt not long ago (no proof but is a really strong lump ), hold great oil pressure even at times like this. front suspension has been fully rebuilt new balljoints, track rod ends ,drag link etc.. obviously been lowered via lopped front springs ted into cups, and lowering blocks on the rear end. sits real nice and can take big wide wheels 8 j front and back with ease.(currently residing on standard steels painted in lovely goodwood green, good tyres al around as well)
brakes are good new pads and discs some new brake copper lines and hoses as well stops pretty decent I have to say
the interior is lovely for the age, and for a 50 year old car it is all in tact really comfortable and it looks the business, not much else to say just pure 60's luxury.
exterior- goodwood green paint on the whole it is good for its age , it DOES need work primarily to the sills area, and in front of the drivers side arch. repair panels ( a pair of full sills and rear arch repairs) are available separately outside of sale. it had had strut top repairs done , as you can see but these have been done rather well and solid welding and need n attention.
another point to note it DOES NEED a complete exhaust system as the current one fell to bits so it doesn't have a system on it at the moment, it runs drives stops as it should but is rather loud so would need either trailering/towing away or you can brave it and be sensible with the throttle and drive home that is the major issue but shouldn't take long to cobble a nice system in place
I might have missed bits out but please contact rob, this is priced to sell NO offers so please do not turn up to view and haggle you will be told politely to go home as this is cheap enough for a T+Ted RWD classic Ford !
have some pictures , please read through thoroughly before ringing viewings at evenings or weekends
