Welcome to the reluctant sale of my Mk3 Toyota Supra Turbo. Although the Mk4 Supra is better known due to Fast and Furious films, the Mk3 is a rarer and in my opinion better looking car. This is my third Mk3 and I have loved every minute of owning them. I'm only selling this one due wanting something a bit different, hence I'm open to offers for anything old and unusual for swaps.
Although this car was built in 1991, you could be mistaken for thinking it was much newer. Working cruise control, electric seats, electric heated mirrors, climate control, this car has it all. It's a really comfy nice place to be, and the full leather adjustable seats make long journeys no trouble at all.
This car has the 3 litre 7MGTE Turbo engine, and although they have a bad reputation for overheating this one is good, the temperature never goes above half and the heater blows nice and hot. Regular coolant flushes have helped keep it nice and it should be good long into the future. The engine is a strong one, quoted at around 230BHP as standard. This car has uprated boost, a K&N filter and bigger bore exhaust system. I don't want to speculate what the power now is, but it's no slouch and can embarrass many new cars both on acceleration and motorway cruising.
Mechanically the car is good, pulls well in all gears and changes as it should. It also has the Limited Slip Diff fitted as standard. It's recently had new discs and pads on the rear, and although the fronts are low I'll include a brand new set of pads for it. Regular oil and filter changes have kept the engine good, the most recent was earlier today.
The bodywork of the car shines up well, although being 22 years old it has some scuffs and marks as can be expected. The weak points on these cars are the rear arches and these appear solid, although there is some slight discoloration/bubbling on one. Elsewhere there are stone chips on the front bumper, and the passenger door is slightly dull. It may buff up but I've just not had the time. I'm probably being overly critical but I want people to know what they're getting. The pictures show it best.
Interior wise, it's a nice comfy place to be. The leather has dried and cracked in places but it's certainly not bad, and the dash/headlining/carpets etc are all really nice. Electrically everything works as it should, even the heater control unit which can be a common fault on these cars.
The wheels are 8x17 Torque Thrust wheels from a 1970's Plymouth Barracuda. They are an american wheel but suit the car, and I've not seen another one with wheels like this. They've had 2 tyres on the front, and only recently cost me £400.
It's MOT'd for 6 months and Taxed for 4 months. I use it everyday so the mileage will increase slightly, but I'll try and keep it as clean as it is in the photos.
What more is there to say...there are not many cars (if any) that provide this combination of power, comfort, refinement and affordability.
Thanks for looking, my number is 07449891961 if you have any questions.
