Ford Capri Mk1 Bonnet, but with RARE twist!
This bonnet has a shorter power bulge than normal & a cast alloy vent moulding on the rear - I have only seen these bonnets on the Internet & in books, & there was a casting sold on here recently. From what I can gather they are EXTREMELY RARE.
From Internet searching, they were fitted to some 3000E models & some RS3100/RS2600 models. This may be incorrect, but thats the info I have found.
It has the rare casting, shorter power bulge, good condition F O R D chrome letters, complete lock/spring assembly. The metalwork is rust holed in two areas (front edge & area by casting) & there are 2 dents on the front of the power bulge. Top left corner has been turned inwards by being put down too hard - about 1cm damage. The underside of the bonnet has been oiled & undersealed all its life so is complete & solid.
A bodywork friend has said it wouldnt take a lot to repair the bonnet as the underside is complete.
