Hi, this is my first post so,
I am going to repaint my retro van with rollers with rustoleum and I know from what I have used so far it is very soft and clogs up sanding discs.. so after reading a few different threads on other forums I came across a few people adding hardener to the paint (obviously the correct one for the paint) and this apparently allows it to be sanded like 2k paint and also gives it a harder finish and seal.
Has anybody here got experience with the paint or especially with adding the hardener?? And also, would it be preferable to add some thinners aswell?
I fully understand that 2k paint would be the better option but the van is a ratty used vehicle that will need bits doing from time to time and being able to touch up the paint with the limited time I have would be great.
Thanks for any help!
