This is my Dad's car. He bought it 15 years ago from RRG Toyota in Bury. It's been totally reliable in all that time, sailed through every MOT, and is still rust free and running perfectly. Apart from oil changes and filters, tyres and a battery, nothing has ever needed replacing. He doesn't drive much anymore and rides a bike around town so he's asked me to sell it and will borrow one of my cars whenever he needs it.
It's been welll looked after. I've taken it for MOTs and done the servicing for him for the last 5 years or so. Before that it was always serviced at RRG. The bodywork has a few minor dents and scuffs but rust is never an issue on these cars and the underside is prestine. The interior is in excellent condition, no smoking or pets ever in there, just typically bland but functional Toyota. There's an electric sunroof, AC, electric windows. Mileage is realatively low at 99,200 miles. They often get used as minicabs and seem to run for ever.
It's got a towbar fitted. I borrow it whenever I need to tow cars or a my large canoe trailer and you barely even notice the extra weight when towing. The boot is enormous - more room than a lot of estates. The engine is silky smooth and has loads of torque and it's even pretty economical for such a big car. I've seen over 40mpg when I've used it.
Bad points: Very few really. There's a couple of scabs around the rear window. The AC works but needs re-gassing. The RH rear window doesn't open. I looked at this and the cable has snapped. He didn't want me to fix it as he doubts he's ever opened it in 15 years - which is probably why the cable snapped the first time he tried. I can easily sort this if it's a deal breaker
Good points: Nearly new Pirelli tyres all round. 10 months tax and MOT. Six digit reg could raise a few quid. It's mechanically perfect. It's a big, comfy, reliable, economical hauler for not much money.
Come and view it anytime at my Dad's place in Warwick or at my work just off junction 12 of the M40. Just send me a message here and I'll pass your details on.
