Thought I would do a build thread on my touring as I'm keeping this one (although I say that about most cars I own..)
Got the 320i off a mate 2 months ago as I was having withdrawal symptoms from not owning an e30... not sure why but they're addictive (this is my 9th). Its probably one of the least desirable models.. 320i auto white touring .. but its very much rust free which is what you should be looking for when purchasing an e30.
Its been my daily since I got it so its not going to be a 1 month build.
Plan is fast road/occasional track but keep it clean and neat
Got a parts car which owes me more than the actual car I'm doing but its got a lot of good bits which ill be needing (good m30 3.5 engine and box with schrick cam, gas flowed head, alpina ecu and more

so far I've swapped the mint sport interior over, put a good sony cd in as it had an old pull-out kenwood cassette player. Taken the rear speaker pods as the fridge never had none and they also had ok speakers in them which was a bonus. I swapped the suspension over as the donor had good bilsteins all round and lower springs (not sure what size.. 60/40?) rear has to come down a touch as its looking like a gasser at the moment. Put the 15" BBS's on also all 4 wheels had mint khumo's.
Rear top mounts on both cars weren't perfect so I got some e46 M3 'vert replacements and z3 reinforcement plates.
