I am never going to get round to sorting out this 104 I have as I don't have the welding skillz and have too many other cars that will always come first! I don't want to see it scrapped as it is really rare, hence offering it for scrap value £100 It was last on the road in 2001 I think, it is very rusty and will need a lot of work to get it back on the road. I have had the engine running although not for long as it was blooming noisy with a rusted exhaust. If someone could sort the rust issues out then the rest wouldn't be that hard to do. It comes with a lot of new parts (clutch, alternator, filters etc) Currently located in Longhope, I can potentially help with transporting if needed.

Haha excellent pic, I have sat in that very car ^^^
The trouble is mine is a 5 door which no one seems to want, to be fair it is pig ugly.... and orange! It even has orange seats!
I would love to see someone save it though, be a shame to scrap something so rare, even if it is curse word.

Hi,
Nice little 104 you have there.
I love 104's and I love orange. Realistically I have far too many cars on the go right now, believe me, I have rustier things to fix than that!
Anyway, I'm sure someone out there will offer a good home but...................
If you get no interest and you find your finger hovering over the scrap man's number, please send me a personal message on here first.
Best of luck,
Rob

Whack her up onto eBay!
The amount of 104 owners who visit this site are probably very low, eBay (as long as you can out up with the prats) allow you too advertise it nationwide.
GLWS, she deserves to be saved.

GLWS, she deserves to be saved. I have thought about it, but not very hopeful it would get very far, partly due to all the morons on ebay but also no one seems to want 104s! I saw a mint low mileage 3 door one on ebay a couple of years back, it was on for about a grand buy it now and no one bit for several weeks

No one wanted the complete thing so I stripped it for spares. Next, no one wanted the shell on here (had emails but no one crossed my hands with notes) so I was left with it. I put her in the garage then lost the garage space so I was forced to put her up onto eBay. Within an hour she was bought by a messer. Relisted it and someone offered me £100 less than I was asking, then went and bought it for the asking price. Done. What's the worst that can happen?

Its not THAT rusty, but its an utter teabag to someone who can't weld or make panels...
structurally very good, so if you have skills even half that of TonyBMW, it'll only take a prospective rescuer a few days to sort it.
p.s, my brother originally bought this a few years ago then moved away with work so never got any further than myself getting it running for him and trying to assess what work it needed, needless to say, I can wield a spanner fine, but not weld old French tin!
have you spoken to Andrew Stevens of CPUK 104 ZS fame George?

I've put a link up on the AutoHistorica page. Whether it'll help or not, I don't know, but it would be nice to see it saved.

Ideal for Day of the Triffids replica: Looks super-cool, I wouldn't say it's pig ugly at all, the 104 is a mean-looking little thing and the 5-door has good proportions I reckon. Orange is a right colour too. I'm not really in a position to buy, but is the rot just the floor? It already looks like someone's already sorted the panels. Surely on a car this big there can't be that much to weld either way!
