Forres...up North..... Your having a laugh mate, try Thurso bud, back of beyond. I am in you shoes too mate, no retro and lurk here longingly, but driving from thurso to Aberdeen weekly makes a retro a difficult thing to have as a daily, and no garage makes it tough to keep as a toy. Anyway boo hoo, woe is me, need to build my garage and get on with it.

Hey I'm up the Macduff way but my parents are Aberlour and the wife's parents are in Duffus outside Elgin. I don't have any retro cars on the road at the moment and I don't know what kind of retro your interested in but the Inverness Mini Owners Group are probably closer over your way and are quite active with runs. www.facebook.com/Invernessminiownersgroup

Just had a look through this thread and my conclusion is yes you are alone up there. But there is always the forum to keep you company .

Hey Steve I'm in Dundee so not a million miles away. Occasionally take the Y10 in your direction for a change of scene.

Epic thread revival... but the Scots don't talk much. Down near Dundee so not close to many others and it's a shame as I'd love to have somebody to help me with a gearbox swap! I can sympathise with the feeling of being in a quiet area. Scotland is 32% of the UK landmass but just 8% of population after all.
